Vara Cybart

Vara is a Vice President within CAC Specialty’s Technology Practice Group where she executes and advocates for technology companies. Vara is responsible for managing internal cross-functional teams to best support client risk management needs.

Before joining CAC, Vara worked at Marsh JLT Specialty focused on Mergers & Acquisitions portfolio management as well as due diligence efforts. Vara led complex M&A insurance due diligence projects for private equity and strategic corporate buyers. Vara’s expertise in Private Equity and Venture Capital backed portfolios allow her to bring a specialized lens to the Technology Practice Group where she helps clients assess and manage risk from start-up phase through their growth trajectory.

Prior to her experience with M&A project management, Vara advised clients and placed Executive Liability programs for Fortune 500 public companies.

Vara holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from the University of Connecticut. She also has achieved the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation and has been recognized as a 2023 Finalist for the Power Broker® designation according to Risk & Insurance^®.
