Thomas Bonfiglio

Thomas is a Senior Vice President with CAC Specialty in the Transactional Liability Practice, bringing almost two decades of experience serving clients as a trusted advisor in one of the most challenging and dynamic segments of the insurance market, Representations & Warranty Insurance (R&W).

Prior to joining CAC Specialty, Thomas launched an insurance consulting firm, Merit Risk LLC, designed to service the Mergers and Acquisitions insurance industry. Thomas has considerable underwriting experience in this space from his time as an Underwriting Manager at Concord Specialty Risk, a managing general agency, where he specialized in underwriting complex risk matters and navigating difficult transactions. His interest in the industry originated from where he started his career, at one of the largest brokers, eventually advancing to the role of Associate Director in the transactional liability group.

Thomas earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Risk Management and Insurance from Temple University (cum laude, Gamma Iota Sigma).
