Steve Britt joined CAC Specialty in August 2022 as a Senior Vice President. Steve was a partner in the tax controversy group at Scott, Douglass & McConnico, LLP in Austin. Steve will be working as a Senior Vice President across all areas with a focus on Transactional Liability.
As an attorney Steve has represented Fortune 100 oil & gas, technology, manufacturing, and transportation companies in commercial suits and tax controversies. He has experience resolving thorny disputes via advanced planning, litigation, and negotiation and settlement.
Steve graduated from the Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English, and he taught high school humanities for a decade before attending law school. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Texas, and lives in Austin with his wife and four children.
