Robert Carvell

Robert Carvell is Senior Vice President of CAC Specialty’s Risk & Project Management division. He brings more than a four decades of experience in domestic and international on/offshore oil & gas drilling and production operations experience. For the better part of his experience, Robert held senior management responsibilities, which included development, implementation, and management of risk mitigation programs.

Before joining CAC Specialty, Robert was the Senior Vice President of Risk and Project Management with Energy and Marine Risk Services in Houston. Robert conducted asset integrity and condition surveys of land/offshore drilling, production and well servicing equipment and facilities. Robert specializes in the assessment of crews and supervisors for operational and well control skills. He also conducts system surveys, the development and implementation of emergency response and action plans along with site specific drills and emergency response team assessment.

Robert attended both the University of Louisiana and Texas A & M’s Engineering Extension Services. He is licensed as an Insurance Claims Adjuster and Local Recording Agent. He is a certified Firefight and Level II Instructor in Structural Fire & Rescue. Robert maintains current certifications for all required specialized training to immediately travel to all global locations.
