Rick Moraller

Rick is the leader of the CAC Specialty Property and Casualty Practice and is responsible for the coordination of property broking and the delivery of all related services. Rick has over 30 years of major property brokerage experience on global and domestic placements.

Prior to assuming this position, Rick was the Specialty Placements Leader for JLT Specialty and a resource to JLT’s Mergers and Acquisitions Group where he was responsible for conducting due diligence projects on behalf of the private equity community.

Rick’s brokerage expertise includes the in-depth review and critique of existing insurance placements and the design, negotiation, and implementation of cost-effective risk transfer solutions with an impetus on contract certainty in order to maximize an insured’s recovery at the time of loss. During his career, Rick has also concentrated on policy wordings and language and has appeared as an expert witness in cases which involve dispute of policy intent.
