Pete Krouse

Pete is Senior Vice President and leads the Energy Claims Advocacy group of CAC’s Natural Resources Practice. Through his extensive experience, he helps clients improve workplace safety while increasing productivity and reducing costs related to workers’ compensation, auto/general liability exposures, and property.

He has over 38 years of corporate safety and risk management experience with extensive knowledge in designing and implementing cost-effective safety management programs.

Before joining CAC, Pete was with McGriff, Seibels & Williams in a similar role. Prior to McGriff, Pete worked in the commercial sector for over 30 years as the Director of AqualisBramar Inc. Additionally, he worked as a marine survey for John L. Kingston & Associates and as on his own with Krouse Marine Surveying.

Pete holds a Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management from the United States Coast Guard Academy. He is a licensed Master, All-Lines licensed adjuster, insurance broker, and current member of the Texas Bar. He is on the Board of Directors for the non-profit corporation hosting the Houston Marine and Energy Insurance Conference. Pete has surveyed, investigated, and adjusted platform, mining, pipeline, vessel, chemical plant, refinery, and mobile offshore drilling unit claims.
