Mike Pithan

Mike Pithan joined CAC Specialty in January 2024 as an Associate Account Executive for the Financial Lines practice group. His prior experience includes an internship at CAC Specialty in the summer of 2023, where he gained insight into corporate risk management, risk transfer, and structured solutions. His responsibilities involved conducting quantitative and qualitative financial analysis, researching historical litigation, and assessing previous insurance policies to develop risk portfolios for clients. Additionally, he contributed to new business development and client renewal processes by creating tailored presentations for executive liability insurance and ancillary lines of coverage. Mike also conducted comprehensive research on a potential client and delivered a sales pitch to c-suite executives, highlighting CAC’s ability to offer greater value and coverage for their Director’s & Officer’s Insurance plan.

Prior to his role at CAC Specialty, Mike served as a Federal Sales Intern at Sterling, assisting account managers with the procurement and transfer of hardware and software to U.S. Federal Civilian Agencies. Mike holds a Bachelor of Arts in economics from the University of Iowa.
