Michael Newman

Michael Newman is a Managing Director with CAC Specialty’s Natural Resources Division. Michael brings over 30+ years of brokerage experience, focused on working with global energy and real estate clients. Prior to CAC NR, Michael served as Managing Director of Beecher Carlson’s Global Energy practice.

Michael and his team work with clients in the areas of property, casualty, executive liability, M & A, tax, environmental and surety, as well as supporting risk services such as loss control, claims advocacy and analytics.

Michael earned his BBA in Risk Management from the University of Georgia and his MBA in Finance from Georgia State University. He also holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation.
