Michael Ford

Mike Ford is Senior Vice President of CAC Specialty’s Mining division. He brings more than three decades of experience in marketing and negotiating property/casualty insurance, specializing within the mining industry.

Before joining CAC Specialty, Mike was a Senior Vice President with the Willis Towers Watson Natural Resources Group. He worked closely with clients on insurance programs, risk management options, policy language, exposure identification, and PML/loss estimates. Mike also interacted with insurance carriers on placements, audits, claims reviews, and client site inspections. Prior to Willis he was the head of a nation mining placement group with a major broker.

Mike also has 15 plus years experience working for a carrier specializing in mining.

Mike attended Boston College where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration. His certifications include: CPCU, AMIM, and ARe.
