Max Bernstein

Max Bernstein joined the CAC Specialty team in August of 2023 as a Vice President of the Contingent Risk practice group, where he assists clients in procuring insurance for litigation-related risks.

Max brings to CAC Specialty a wealth of litigation experience at both the trial and appellate levels. Prior to joining CAC Specialty, he was an associate at BraunHagey & Borden and Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, where he represented clients across a wide array of disputes, including intellectual property, antitrust, consumer protection, trade secret, and employment matters. Max also spent three years clerking on the federal bench, first at the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York and then at the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.

Max attained J.D., magna cum laude, from Fordham University School of Law, where he was the Editor-in-Chief of the Fordham Law Review and attained his B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
