Max is a Vice President on our Contingent Risk team, where he helps clients procure insurance solutions for a wide array of litigation-related risks.

Prior to joining CAC Specialty, Max started his legal career at Quinn Emanual Urquhart & Sullivan, one of the largest corporate litigation law firms in the world, where he prosecuted multimillion dollar complex litigations. Max also clerked with the Honorable Cathy Seibel on the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, and the Honorable Denny Chin for Second Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals. He then practiced law at BraunHagey & Borden, a litigation boutique specializing in bet-the-company litigations.

Max’s diverse background as a complex corporate litigator and clerk at both the Federal District Court and Court of Appeals levels gives him a depth of experience in evaluating potential litigation assets and exposures and helps him think creatively and credibly about potential insurance solutions.

Max received his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law, where he graduated magna cum laude, Order of the Coif, and was Editor-in-Chief of the Fordham Law Review.  He received his B.A. in Sociology from the University of Wisconsin.
