Mary Claire Brakefield

Mary Claire Brakefield joined the CAC Specialty team in March of 2023 as a Marketing Communications Manager for the Natural Resources Practice. Mary Claire is highly skilled in project management as well as communications.

In her previous role with Brown & Brown, Mary Claire served as a Risk Analyst and was responsible for performing risk analysis studies on compilations of underwriting information, coverage placement, and loss forecasting. Prior to that, she was the Marketing Manager for Brown & Brown where she led the marketing team, overseeing the RFP process, presentations, and other projects. She also served as the Content Coordinator for Brown & Brown in which she wrote and edited all sales collateral and implemented internal communication campaigns.

Mary Claire earned her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Alabama. She holds a Property and Casualty Agent License as well.
