Mari Beth Ross

Mari Beth is an experienced senior risk and insurance professional with expertise in the power and utilities industry including wind and solar , battery energy storage, natural gas, combined cycle, nuclear, retail energy, as well as pipelines and gas production.

Prior to joining CAC Specialty, Mari Beth was a Senior Vice President at Moore-McNeil, LLC. In addition to being a member of the leadership team at the firm, she provided independent insurance/risk management due diligence consulting and advisory services for lenders and investors in a lead role for project finance transactions and mergers and acquisitions. She also negotiated engagements and/or master service agreements with clients, and managed relationships with project sponsors and financing teams. Prior to Moore-McNeil, Mari Beth was the director of insurance at NRG Energy, Inc and was responsible for risk analysis and procurement of property, casualty and financial insurance programs.

Mari Beth attended St. Mary’s University of Minnesota and graduated with a bachelors in Business Administration (Marketing). She also has an Associate in Risk Management designation. Mari Beth resides in Nashville, Tennessee with her husband and two sons. When she is not working she enjoys hiking, traveling and attending concerts and major league sporting events with her family.
