Karmanee Governor

Karmanee Governor joined the CAC Specialty team in April of 2023 as a Senior Vice President for the Healthcare division. Karmanee has broad experience in all lines of coverage, with a specific focus on brokering and servicing Healthcare Professional Liability and Excess Liability programs for clients ranging from multi-state integrated healthcare and behavioral health systems to senior living, ambulatory surgery centers, miscellaneous medical facilities, and large physician groups. Her expertise includes in-depth experience as an underwriter for a physician medical malpractice carrier.

Most recently, she served as Senior Vice President, Healthcare Lead for Willis Towers Watson, where she oversaw the expansion and development of the healthcare industry insurance business as part of the M&A team. Prior to joining Willis, she worked in similar roles for the Beecher Carlson and Aon Healthcare Practices.

Karmanee holds a property & casualty producer license and has a plethora of designations including Accredited Adviser in Insurance (AAI), Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), Associate in Risk Management (ARM), Registered Professional Liability Underwriter (RPLU), and Certified Professional in Health Care Risk Management (CPHRM). Karmanee is a past recipient of the Risk & Insurance® “40 under 40” Healthcare Power Broker Award and was also named as a Healthcare Power Broker finalist. She is affiliated with the Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS) and the American Society of Health Care Risk Management (ASHRM).
