John Madia

John joined CAC specialty as a Senior Vice President with nearly a decade of investment banking experience.

Prior to joining CAC Specialty, John was a Director at RBC Capital Markets where he advised on numerous M&A transactions including GTCR’s $2.1bn acquisition of Wells Fargo Asset Management, Macquarie’s $1.7bn acquisition or Waddell & Reed, and Victory Capital’s $1bn acquisition of USAA Asset Management.

Prior to his career in finance, John served as a Ranger Qualified officer with the Army’s 101st Airborne Division. During such time, John completed combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan and received two Bronze Star Medals for his overseas service.

John received his bachelors in Operations Research from the United States Military Academy at West Point. He received an MBA in Finance from the University of Notre Dame, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
