Jessie Friend

Jessie is a Vice President with CAC Specialty in the Transactional Liability Practice focusing on Representations & Warranty Insurance (R&W) and specifically on insured-friendly policy language.

Before joining CAC Specialty, Jessie was a corporate attorney at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP. She developed a passion for insurance, specifically on the policyholder side, working for a boutique insurance consulting firm focused on private equity real estate insurance in the Boston area. This experience prompted law school and a move to Washington, DC.

Jessie earned her Juris Doctor from the Georgetown University Law Center and two Bachelor of Science Degrees from the Pennsylvania State University (graduating with Highest Honors). She was a public-school teacher for four years, including two years with Teach For America in the San Francisco bay area.
