Jennifer Schaeffer

Jennifer is a trusted client executive with a strong track record of executing and advocating for clients. She is responsible for maintaining a deep understanding of clients’ business drivers and goals, and is responsible for building and managing internal cross-functional teams to best support client needs.

Jennifer joined CAC Specialty from Marsh JLT Specialty, where she served as Senior Vice President, responsible for cultivating relationships with new clients and advising companies across multiple industries and all phases of growth and development. Recent engagements include supporting a private, $1 billion plus valuation tech company scale its risk management operations and providing Cyber risk quantification for a Fortune 500 technology company.

Previously, Schaeffer spent seven years at Aon providing risk management services to technology and financial services companies, and at Wells Fargo Insurance Services where she focused on managing and negotiating Executive Liability insurance programs for pre-IPO and publicly-traded technology and biotech companies. Schaeffer began her career at NASDAQ managing Executive Liability programs for Bay Area technology companies, and went on to lead NASDAQ’s Nordic insurance operations in Stockholm, Sweden.

Jennifer’s educational background includes earning dual MBAs from the Haas School of Business and Columbia Business School and graduating magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree from Bucknell University, where she played Division I soccer.
