Eric Joost

Eric is the Chief Technology and Global Markets Officer at CAC Specialty. He heads all technology efforts including a CAC proprietary data and analytics platform. During his diverse career in global insurance, Eric has hands-on leadership experience in all facets of brokerage and underwriting businesses within the North American and London markets. Prior to joining CAC, Eric was most recently the Global Head of Property & Casualty for Willis Towers Watson where he also oversaw the insurance brokerage technology capabilities. Previously, he was a Senior Vice President and board member at Allianz Global Risks and Managing Director at Aon’s Financial Services Group.

In addition to leading North American operations at Willis, he provided leadership and oversight of various specialty products and client service practices and worked with colleagues and clients in the financial services, construction, environmental, real estate, health care, life sciences, and technology/telecommunications industries.

Eric is a frequent speaker at industry events and podcasts: KPMG Treasury Conference, Keefe Bruyette & Woods Insurtech Conference, Accenture Insurance podcast, and Chisel Al podcast.

Eric has a Master of Business Administration in Marketing and Finance from the Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the McCormick School of Engineering, both from Northwestern University. He is Non-Executive Director of Artificial Intelligence. And served for four years as a board member for the Council of Insurance Agents and Brokers until January 2020.
