Dustin Smith

Dustin Smith joined the CAC Specialty team in November of 2023 as a Senior Vice President. With an impressive background spanning 20 years, Dustin has a wealth of product expertise in several lines including but not limited to casualty, property & builder’s risk, environmental & professional, project risk, and surety. His industry knowledge spans construction, manufacturing, mining, complex risks and real estate.

Before joining CAC Specialty, Dustin spent the last 5 years at NFP leading business development, client fulfillment and recruiting efforts within the Real Estate and Construction practice groups. In this role, he actively engaged with clients, prospects, and centers of influence. Dustin began his career with Aon’s Construction Service Group, showcasing competencies in Casualty, Property & Builder’s Risk, Environmental & Professional, Project Risk, Surety, and Complex Risks.

Dustin earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona and his MBA from the University of Southern California.

Residing in Redondo Beach, CA, with his wife April and children Brady, Kendra, Maya, and Troy, Dustin is passionate about family time, golfing, cycling, and is currently pursuing his pilot’s license.
