David McMahan

David is a Senior Vice President at CAC Specialty and on the CAC Specialty management committee. He is a senior member of the Financial Lines Practice, focusing on management liability products including Directors & Officers, Cyber, Professional, Employment, Fiduciary, Fidelity, and Kidnap, Ransom & Extortion Liability. David has extensive experience with companies involved in IPOs, SPACs, deSPACs, bankruptcies and complex securities class actions.

Prior to joining CAC Specialty, David was a Senior Vice president at Marsh and McGriff focused on Fortune 1000 companies.
David also spent six years at AIG as the Regional Underwriting Manager for the Southeast and Southwest Regions, managing the public company portfolio for AIG which included oversight and management of the underwriting for D&O, EPL, Fiduciary, Crime and Cyber insurance.

David graduated from Samford University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management; he earned his MBA in finance and risk management from the University of Georgia.
