Brad McDonald

Brad is an Executive Vice President at CAC Specialty and a member of CAC’s Management Committee.

As a member of CAC’s Special Situations Group, Brad focuses on insurance solutions for the most complex risks, including companies in financial distress and bankruptcy. He specializes in the strategy and execution of challenging Directors & Officers Liability, Employment Practices Liability, Fiduciary Liability, Crime and Kidnap, Ransom & Extortion insurance programs.

Brad has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. Before joining CAC, Brad was a founding member of JLT Specialty in the U.S. and the Deputy Head of the Financial Lines Group. He was responsible for building out the U.S. business with a focus on financial lines. Prior to JLT, Brad served as Managing Director and Executive Committee member of Aon’s Financial Services Group. He started his career at Arthur Andersen.

Brad obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Finance from the University of Notre Dame. He is a recipient of the Risk & Insurance “Power Broker” award.
