Amy McGuire Jones

Amy Jones is a Senior Account Manager at CAC Specialty, serving as the point of contact for clients and assisting in all aspects of the daily servicing of client accounts, interfacing with both underwriters and insureds.

With a BBA – Finance from UT-Austin, Amy started her career in 1989 at J.H. Blades & Co., a London coverholder based in Houston and specializing in energy insurance, eventually becoming a broker and account executive. Her early experience included some time spent training and working at a predecessor firm to Howdens in London. Amy later joined a competitor, Global Special Risks, and has extensive experience servicing upstream energy accounts with a particular focus on onshore and offshore control of well and associated liabilities placed in the London insurance market.

For a number of years Amy shifted to working part-time in the field of energy insurance, servicing accounts in more of a background role, as well as 6 years spent improving her basic accounting skills at a small CPA firm.

Amy was thrilled to join CAC in 2019 in a fulltime client-facing role. The aspect of her work that she has always enjoyed the most is interacting with clients daily and making a real connection by being able to meet their needs, with the goal of making the insurance buying process more enjoyable for all.
