Alec Pratt joined the CAC Specialty team in December of 2022 as Vice President for the Natural Resources Division focusing on mining and metals.
For nearly a decade, Alec worked in the commercial banking sector focusing on energy and precious metals. At Regions Bank, he served as an analyst for Regions Business Capital in Atlanta and joined the Corporate Banking Diversified Industries group to support live deals and pitches across a full spectrum of products and services and support general advisory assignments for public and private company buy side and sell side engagements. Alec also helped build the precious metals lending practice for middle market and mid-corporate opportunities for CIBC.
Alec is a member of the International Precious Metals Institute, Association for Corporate Growth, and Structured Finance Network in Atlanta. He graduated in 2013 from the University of Alabama, earning his Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administration.
When not working, Alec enjoys hunting, golfing, and traveling with his wife, Greer, and their yellow lab, River.
