Alan Peterson

Alan is a Senior Vice President at CAC Specialty, specializing in the placement and advisory of Directors & Officers Liability (D&O), Errors & Omissions, Employment Practices Liability, Fiduciary Liability, Crime, and Kidnap, Ransom and Extortion, Transactional Insurance and due diligence.
Alan’s expertise includes IPOs, mergers and acquisitions due diligence, bankruptcy/restructuring, SPAC/de-SPAC transactions, complex claims and litigation, and forced placed insurance programs for new boards.
Clients include public companies with market capitalizations ranging from micro-cap to >$50B, financial consulting services firms, manufacturers, retail, technology, financial institutions, and private equity firms. Alan has placed D&O coverage for some of the largest IPOs and bankruptcies.
Prior to joining CAC, Alan was most recently a Senior Vice President at McGriff, Seibels & Williams in the Financial Services Division.
He earned a Bachelor of Science in Risk Management and Insurance, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Georgia.
