Jun 10, 2022

CAC Specialty is proud to launch a new Senior Living Practice with the addition of Carl Swan as Executive Vice President and Alex Whipple as Senior Vice President.

Swan comes to CAC Specialty with deep experience and broad senior living industry involvement. Swan specializes in forward-thinking solutions for every type of senior living building, from independent and assisted living communities to skilled nursing centers and continuing care retirement communities.

Whipple brings extensive experience in insurance and risk management solutions for Senior Housing operators across the country. Whipple’s consultative approach focuses on utilizing risk management to drive down the total cost of risk.

“The senior living industry continues to be challenged by increasingly complex issues, such as a growing litigious environment,” said Bruce Denson, President, Cobbs Allen/CAC Specialty. “We are hiring to bring deep knowledge and extensive expertise in this area. We are confident that we will help our clients successfully navigate the evolving risk management landscape. CAC continues to grow by attracting the leading talent in our industry to serve our clients.”

Swan added, “I am excited to join an organization that brings together some of the best talent in the industry. Today’s environment adds significant risk for senior living organizations, and it takes years of dedicated expertise to best understand how to reflect on the past trends to successfully head into the future.”

Whipple noted, “I’m thrilled to join an organization that brings together the very best industry talent, analytics and consultative resources to support its clients. It is my priority to help our clients become better operators, more knowledgeable about their risk transfer and ultimately create safer communities for their residents and associates. I know that I am joining other industry leaders at CAC Specialty that also take pride in their work, offering innovative solutions to best manage a highly regulated and evolving industry.”
