CAC Specialty, a specialty insurance brokerage firm bringing bespoke insurance solutions to public and private corporations and private equity sponsors, today announced its first placement deal made in partnership with minority-led insurance and reinsurance broker, Protecdiv. The duo placed an insurance program for DT Midstream Inc.

DT Midstream (NYSE: DTM) is an owner, operator and developer of natural gas pipelines, storage fields, gathering systems as well as compression, treatment and processing facilities. The Company transports clean, natural gas for utilities, power plants, marketers, large industrial customers and energy producers across the Southern, Northeastern and Midwestern United States and Canada.

The project was the first deal conducted as part of the co-brokering partnership Protecdiv has with CAC Specialty, which was first announced in May 2020.
