Gary King

Gary King is Executive Chairman of CAC’s Natural Resources Practice Group. His career spans upwards of 35 years, retailing & wholesaling energy risks in both Houston & London. Prior to starting the CAC Specialty Energy P&C practice, Gary spent 23 years with McGriff Seibels & Williams in Houston, leading the growth of the firm’s energy team as Executive Vice President. Gary began his career in 1986 as a Lloyd’s of London energy technician & broker before moving to the United States in 1996.

Gary has extensive experience in producing, structuring and placing insurance and reinsurance programs for some of the largest energy companies in the world. He has placed & handled complex risks around the globe including USA, Middle East, UK, Central & West Africa, Australia, South and Central America, and the Caribbean.

Gary is a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute, London.
