Erin Lynch

Erin is President of the CAC Specialty Natural Resources Division and co-leader of the Power and Renewables team.

Erin has built a strong reputation as a leader in the Energy sector. She is known for her role as a strategic leader who goes well beyond transacting insurance to help manage the stewardship and strategic planning of global risk management programs for some of the largest independent power companies and utilities in the world.

Erin has been published in multiple industry publications focused on the energy and insurance sectors, including Clean Energy Pipeline and Property Casualty 360. She was named Power Broker twice in the Energy & Utility division by Risk & Insurance. Erin was also named a Woman to Watch by Business Insurance in 2018, an Elite Woman by Insurance Business America in 2020, and was recently named a member of Insurance Business America’s 2021 Global 100 List.

Erin joined CAC Specialty in 2021 after leaving her position as President of the Beecher Carlson Global Energy Practice, where she worked for 14 years. Prior to that, Erin began her career at Willis Towers Watson. She is a graduate of the University of Oregon School of Journalism and spent the first five years of her career as a broadcast journalist. Erin is also a member of the Oregon chapter of the Young President’s Organization (YPO).
