CAC Specialty Hires Jordan B. Tamchin to Lead its Tax Insurance PracticeDecember 1st, 2019
CAC Specialty announces the expansion of its Transactional Liability Practice with the appointment of Jordan B. Tamchin, Esq. as Senior Vice President and leader of its Tax Insurance Practice.
Most recently, Tamchin was Vice President, Tax Insurance Counsel for Concord Specialty Risk, a part of Ryan Specialty Group’s RSG Underwriting Managers, where he underwrote a wide range of tax risks for corporations and private equity funds.

Prior to Concord Specialty Risk, Tamchin was a tax attorney at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP, where he represented multinational corporations and private equity funds on the tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, spin-offs, and capital market transactions. In addition, Tamchin was a tax advisor in the M&A tax group at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP where he performed tax due diligence and structuring on behalf of his private equity and corporate clients.

Tamchin will be joined by Debra Aboodi, also an experienced tax attorney who previously practiced at Cravath Swaine & Moore LLP.
