CAC Specialty Announces Appointment of Jennifer Schaeffer as Senior Vice President

CAC Specialty, a specialty insurance brokerage and investment banking platform bringing bespoke insurance solutions to public and private corporations and private equity sponsors, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jennifer Schaeffer as Senior Vice President. Schaeffer will anchor West Coast business development efforts to accelerate growth and improve customer coverage.

Schaeffer joins CAC Specialty from Marsh JLT Specialty, where she served as Senior Vice President, responsible for cultivating relationships with new clients and advising companies across multiple industries and all phases of growth and development. Recent engagements include supporting a private, $1 billion plus valuation tech company scale its risk management operations and providing Cyber risk quantification for a Fortune 500 technology company.

Based in San Francisco, Schaeffer will focus on business development and client advisory for technology, fintech, financial services, digital media and private equity clients. She brings an established track record of delivering customer success through her deep understanding of the market and ability to marshal resources to solve unique business challenges and generate positive outcomes.

Previously, Schaeffer spent seven years at Aon providing risk management services to technology and financial services companies, and at Wells Fargo Insurance Services where she focused on managing and negotiating Executive Liability insurance programs for pre-IPO and publicly-traded technology and biotech companies. Schaeffer began her career at NASDAQ managing Executive Liability programs for Bay Area technology companies, and went on to lead NASDAQ’s Nordic insurance operations in Stockholm, Sweden.

Schaeffer holds dual MBAs from Columbia Business School and the Haas School of Business, and earned a bachelor’s degree from Bucknell University, where she graduated magna cum laude and played Division I soccer.
