DENVER, CO – October 13, 2020

CAC Specialty announces the establishment of its Analytics Practice with appointment of Nathan Baseman as Senior Vice President and Analytics Practice Leader.

Most recently, Baseman was Director of Analytics for Lockton Companies, where he was responsible for strategy, research and planning for a national analytics teams that spanned both benefits and property and casualty.

In his role at CAC, Baseman will partner alongside all the existing analytic activity and lead the extension of firmwide capabilities around topics including  catastrophe modeling, claims analytics, captive assessment, collateral requirements, claim / loss trending, insurance program optimization and client data visualizations.

Prior to Lockton, Baseman served as an actuary at BMS Group and before that with several insurance organizations where his work spanned the connection between effective catastrophe modeling reinsurance buying optimization, pricing actuary activity, and helping lead client interactions.
