Tracy Tucker

Tracy Tucker is Executive Vice President for Commercial Surety at CAC Specialty – Natural Resources.  Over his 32-year career, he has gained experience in production and servicing, underwriting, reinsurance, claims mitigation and credit rating for mining and mining related companies.  He has worked with non-US regulatory ministries and agencies gaining success with using surety as an acceptable form of financial assurance.

Along with Tracy’s responsibilities with CAC Specialty, he is also an officer and board member for a specialty insurer concentrated on surety.  In this role, he interfaces with credit rating agencies, regulatory authorities and reinsurers.  This broad background makes him uniquely qualified in the field of commercial surety.

Tracy is a graduate of the University of Arkansas Walton College of Business with a Bachelor of Science degree in Financial Management.  He has the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and the Associate in Fidelity and Surety Underwriting (AFSB) professional insurance designations.  Tracy has been a guest lecturer at the University of Tennessee Haslam College of Business Department of Management and Entrepreneurship and currently serves as an advisor.  He has contributed to numerous articles on financial assurance and surety for mining, natural resource extraction and remediation.
